| Abstract | Explores difficulties concerning female counseling center clients' career decision making. Reviews counseling intake and progress notes of 18 students who sought counseling services at a university counseling center. Most participants described their career decision making difficulties in the context of relationships with their parents or significant others. Both external and internal conditions emerged as significantly affecting the career decision making process. (Contains 28 references and 3 tables.) (Author/GCP) |
