Abstract | This article presents data on the characteristics of individuals (n=228) who left the Wyoming Training School between 1988 and 1993 and compares them to those of individuals (n=161) who remained. No significant difference between groups was found. Individuals who left the large, residential institutional setting usually went to less restrictive, rural placements in the community.
