Abstract | The evolution of a faculty development program for clinical medical teachers in a required ambulatory care clerkship in which students work at 20 different sites is described. The objective was to assist physicians teaching a new ambulatory clerkship, to practice a learner-centered approach to precepting rather than the traditional teacher-centered approach. (MSE) |
