Abstract | Survey of pharmacists found they spent about 80 percent of their time on managerial/clerical and dispensing functions and 20 percent on patient education and counseling. They desired to spend 33 percent of time on patient education and counseling. Most satisfied and willing to communicate were owners and managers; those not desiring to counsel were more satisfied than other respondents. (Author/MSE) |
