Abstract | Investigated importance, in adolescence, of motivational, contextual, and demographic variables in predicting professional attainment in early stages of career development. Findings from approximately 3,000 adolescent students from their final year in secondary school through age 27 showed that external contextual factors and individual factors were powerful determinants of professional attainment. Sex differences were found. (Author/NB) |
