Abstract | Teachers' views concerning occupations appropriate for visually impaired print and braille readers were studied, based on surveys conducted at two North American schools for the blind. The teachers tended to hold the stereotyped ideas that blind people are good musicians, are good with their hands, or should be in a profession. (SEW) |
