Abstract | Issues in disclosure of faculty positions in nonrenewal of faculty appointments are addressed. It is concluded that disclosure is a faculty right; institutions should be free of external constraints in making decisions; and courts should only investigate procedures, statistical and anecdotal evidence of discrimination, and reasons in defense of decisions.
