Abstract | The Graduate Certificate in Data Science for the Chemical Industries was designed to provide skills to working professionals, via a fully online and asynchronous format. The certificate may also be earned by undergraduate and graduate students at Georgia Tech. The certificate consists of four courses. The two core courses are Data Analytics for Chemical Engineers and Data Driven Process Systems Engineering, which focus on providing basic data analytics skills with examples that are relevant to chemists and chemical engineers. Students also select two electives from a wide range of online offerings at Georgia Tech, allowing them to explore more fundamental or applied aspects of data science. (As Provided). |
