Abstract | Service-learning is a valuable pedagogical practice for undergraduate students. It provides meaningful community engagement for students and assists in linking theory with practice. This article provides information regarding the planning, execution and outcomes of an undergraduate service-learning project conducted in a law enforcement class. A model of best practices is discussed as well as benefits to students, the university, law enforcement and community members. (As Provided). |
