Abstract | This study aimed to contribute to the empirical literature concerning the factors that contribute to the job satisfaction levels of public and private school teachers. Furthermore, an emphasis was placed on how governmental accountability, school procedures, and workplace characteristics affected levels of job satisfaction. This study focused on other contributing factors of job satisfaction: personal attributes, human capital, occupational characteristics, and school characteristics. Inferential statistics concluded that there was a statistically significant difference between public and private school teachers' job satisfaction levels. Specifically, private school teachers had higher levels of job satisfaction than public school teachers. (As Provided). |
