Abstract | Early intervention (EI) providers--who deliver Part C services under the purview of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) for children birth-3 years old with/at risk of disabilities--play an important role in promoting the development of young children and their caregivers. Enhancing caregiver capacity to meet the developmental needs of their children with disabilities is central to EI services. Through home visits, EI providers focus on supporting caregivers in building capacity, competence, and confidence to promote their children's development. The purpose of this manuscript is to share strategies that support an effective and efficient EI home visit via tele-intervention. (ERIC). |
