AbstractThis paper aims to analyze the strategic drivers used to achieve the accreditations issued by the three most important business school accreditation agencies (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA). The study consisted of semi-structured interviews with the team members who led the accreditation processes. The information was coded, categorized, and analyzed using the thematic analysis methodology. The results show that the dean's leadership and commitment, budget commitment, faculty and staff participation, quality management systems, accreditation team, active participation, hire and retain qualified professors, encourage research, improvement of physical facilities, internationalization, local engagement, assurance of learning, innovation, stay-up-to-date and maintain records are the most important key drivers to approach business schools accreditations.
