Abstract | Research has shown that while students with visual impairments are likely to be included in general physical education programs, they may not be as active as their typically developing peers. This article provides ideas for equipment modifications and game-like progressions for one popular physical education unit, softball. The purpose of these modifications is to include children with visual impairments in the general physical education setting with the proper support to maximize success. (As Provided). |
