Abstract | The Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) has synthesized key data on English learners (ELs) into two-page sheets on a variety of subjects. The topics for this report on dual language learners and state-funded preschool include: (1) Number of All Children Including Dual Language Learners (DLLs) Enrolled in State-Funded Preschool Programs in 2016-17; (2) Percentage of State Preschool DLL Enrollment 2016-2017; (3) States with Disproportionately Greater DLLs Enrolled in State-Funded Preschool Programs SY 2016-17; and (4) States with Disproportionately Fewer DLLs in State-Funded Preschool Programs 2016-2017. (ERIC). |
