Abstract | In today's marketplace, with the increase of choice as well as the disruption occurring in higher education, colleges and universities are faced with a critical problem of how to increase enrollment in order to increase revenue and maintain sustainability. The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine three potential predictors of successful enrollment counselors in non-traditional Christian higher education. Research questions were formulated to investigate the relationships between Emotional Intelligence, Grit, Personality, and the successful recruitment of students. Additionally, four demographic variables were examined as potential predictors of successful recruitment. Participants were enrollment counselors from member institutions of Christian Adult Higher Education Association (CAHEA).
