Abstract	The sections of this report deal with various divisions of the problem of recording and reporting school data. A considerable number of forms representative of good practice have been included in this report. The material in this report should be looked upon by local school systems as the starting point in the development or revision of a system of records and reports. Topics covered include (1) Financial records of a school system; (2) Pupil records--permanent and cumulative; (3) Census and attendance records; (4) Superintendent and board reports to county or State; (5) State reports to the public; (6) State reports to the Federal Government; and (7) Report forms of the United States Bureau of Education.
