| Abstract | Educational buildings relate to their environment in many ways that affect the surrounding community such as overall appearance, energy consumption, and waste production. This report examines these issues and identifies how educational buildings can contribute to the conservation and protection of the environment. It explores these issues in three types of schools: healthy schools; green schools; and energy-conscious schools. Concluding comments summarize the findings and presents conclusions. (GR) |
