Abstract	This guide takes students through the process of seeking scholarship funds for study at colleges and universities in the provinces of eastern Canada, including Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Quebec. The first several chapters cover the preparatory process, discussing how to win a scholarship, how to make the most of high school years, how to apply for awards, taxation of awards, education savings plans, scholarship coaching, letters of recommendation, sports scholarships, scholarship information services, and budgeting. Also included is a preparation time line that runs from an education savings plan started at birth to the final review of the scholarship paperwork. The balance of the book includes listings and descriptions of awards from universities and colleges in the Atlantic provinces and Quebec, Canada-wide general awards, and employment-related scholarships. A final chapter cross-indexes awards according to specific characteristics or requirements, such as religion, ethnic background, or physical disability; by specific program of study; and by deadline date.
