Abstract | This teller training module on offline banking systems is intended to be part of a postsecondary financial applications course. The module contains the following sections: module objective; specific objective; content--electronic audit machine key functions, practice packet--sample bank transactions and practicing procedures, and evaluation--proper completion of packet and examination packet; methodology; activities; a list of resources; and evaluation. The following attachments are included with this module: offline banking systems activities; practice packets A-D; two exams; an examination answer sheet; and an instructional manual for Sharp Electronic Teller Machines--start of day procedures, sample transactions, error corrections, and end-of-the-day balancing.
