Abstract | This instructor's edition for a new accounts representative unit is intended to help teachers of 11th- and 12th-grade students and adults prepare them for pursuing a career in a financial institution. The unit follows a standard format that includes some or all of these nine basic components: performance objectives, suggested activities for the instructor, information sheets, assignment sheets, job sheets, activity sheets, transparency masters, tests, and answers to tests and assignment sheets. All of the unit components focus on measurable and observable learning outcomes and are designed for use for more than one lesson or class period. The unit covers procedures for opening an account and a broad range of services and procedures of a financial institution. Materials are keyed to a list of eight basic skills: reading, writing, mathematics, science, oral communication, interpersonal, creative thinking and problem solving, and employability. (KC) |
