Abstract	The three units in this guide are designed to teach language, mathematics, and social studies skills associated with earning and managing money to students in grades 7-9. Each unit includes notes to aid the teacher in preparing and presenting the material, pre/post tests, and a series of one-page reproducible sheets which contain information or activities for students. Topics covered in the sheets include: (1) reading charts and graphs; (2) making basic computations; (3) understanding that scarcity involves making difficult choices; (4) earning and saving toward future goals; (5) filling out a job application; (6) taking part in a job interview; and (7) figuring simple and compound interest. The units can be taught separately, included as part of an integrated classroom study of economics, or used to supplement the regular curriculum. (DC)
