Abstract	The Indian Child Welfare Program of the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Phoenix, Arizona is described. Section I provides a description of the program's organizational structure and purposes, which include adoption services, foster care and social work, a residential group home for adolescent Indian women, and a training and consultation service. Section II outlines the phases of the operation including the political, social, and philosophical background of the program; the staff and organizational patterns and management policy; and delivery procedures of the programs. Section III gives an overview of the program results to date (1979). Among findings reported are that the average length of foster care is 6.5 months; that, over the 6 years of program operation, 93 children have been placed in adoptive homes; and that training services have extended in the 3 years of this phase of program operations. Among appendixes are forms, pamphlets describing program services, and copies of newsletters. (PHR)
