Objectives are listed for the following areas (sample subcategories in parentheses): application forms (driver's permit, social security benefits); banking; buying (supermarket skills); budgeting; food preparation and serving; shelter; utilities; clothing; household chores; leisure time/recreation; transportation; family relationships; insurance; taxes; use of tools; careers; getting a job; keeping a job; communications (use of telephone and newspapers); enrichment (literary/fine arts); consumer protection; independence and mobility; preserving the environment; law and order; government; mental health; physical health; safety; and social interaction.
