| Abstract | Reported is a study of the effects of audio-tutorial chemistry instruction to determine if: (1) students will respond to post-course questionnaire items consistently within a category; (2) responses to items concerning equipment would be consistent within a category; and (3) attitudes towards educational materials would be consistent within a category. Analysis of the data showed that the first and third hypotheses were rejected, and the second was not. Recommendations for a correlational study of the relationship between students' disinterest in AT instruction and reasons for disinterest are given. A table presenting the tabulations of the responses to the post-course attitude questionnaire is included. Percentages have been calculated for each of the 70 items. (Author/SA) |
