| Abstract | This report reviews the economic impacts of the energy dilemma. Presented are viewpoints that have emerged relating to: (1) the desirability of economic growth; (2) the relationship between economic growth and energy usage; (3) the effects of energy wage in limiting or expanding the opportunities for growth; and (4) whether there is some sense in which energy is being wasted. This report may be of use to policy makers and students who are interested in environmental economics, particularly relating to energy. (MR) |
