| Abstract | This manual is designed to provide laboratory personnel with information about chemical hazards and ways of disposing of chemical wastes with minimum contamination of the environment. The manual contains a reference chart section which has alphabetical listings of some 1200 chemical substances with information on the health, fire and reactivity hazards of the substances. A section on waste disposal procedures is also included. Both of these sections are categorized by chemical classes. Another section of the manual lists the minimum requirements of disposal materials. A bibliography is also included in the manual. (GA) |
