Abstract | This is a summary of a final report which was based upon the review, analysis and summarization of literature related to pre-college science instruction, science teacher education, and needs assessment efforts. The summary contains a brief introduction, the purpose of the study, a brief description of the methodology employed, and selected findings from the final report. The findings are presented as summary statements extracted from each major section of the final report and keyed by page number to the original sections from which they were drawn. (Author) |
