Abstract | This report presents the results of followup studies concerning participants' attitudes and reactions to two courses delivered during the experimental phase of the Appalachian Education Satellite Project (AESP). Graduate level teacher training was the objective of the courses, entitled Diagnostic and Prescriptive Reading Instruction and Career Education for Secondary Teachers. Participants were asked to indicate the extent to which they had been able to implement techniques taught in the courses and to react to various components of course structure and administration. The report also provides research methods including subject data and instrumentation, research conclusions, and effects of the study on subsequent course revisions. (Author/STS) |
