Abstract | This intensive language course in Dari, also known as Farsi or Persian, was originally prepared for medical workers of the International Afghan Mission. This course in Dari, one of the two official languages of Afghanistan, normally requires 10 days' study in a concentrated program. Principal instructional objectives are development of oral comprehension and speaking skills. Forty-four sections treating Dari script, grammar, and cultural materials are included.
