Abstract | The concept of continuous, interrelated learning experiences for every student is central to the articulated curriculum. Articulation involves the ordering of long-range and immediate curriculum goals into a cooperative process of planned change. Such planning also necessitates definitions of goals and curriculum content and requires the human and material resources to reach the stated objectives. This monograph focuses on the subject areas of art, health education, home economics, industrial arts, language arts, mathematics, music education, physical education, reading, science, and social studies. The eleven contributors were selected because of their expertise in these areas and because of their unique approaches to the articulated curriculum from kindergarten through high school.
