| Abstract | With regard to the general statutes of North Carolina which require the approval of plans for new school buildings, this booklet outlines the procedures to be followed by local boards of education in securing a certificate of approval from the Division of School Planning of the State Department of Public Instruction for each school building project. This is interpreted to include new schools, additions to existing schools, and major renovations. Included is an outline of the procedures to be followed in obtaining the services of the Division of School Planning to inspect new construction projects. (FS) |
