(Autorenreferat). "The main subject of this study is the structural, cultural and identification integration of young emigrants and late repatriates from the Commonwealth of Independent States. From a development psychological point of view the relocation of this group of people coincides with the adolescence phase, the course of which can be affected by emigration circumstances (e.g. loss of socialisation localities, change of culture). The ensuing process of orientation and integration is described in detail, taking into account the motives for emigration for the young emigrants and late repatriates, the socio-economic and structural conditions they find in Germany and the changes resulting from political discussions. The results of the investigation provide additional information on the positions taken up by those questioned in regard to immigration to Germany, including those directly concerned, the experts and the representatives of the host society. Following this, recommended courses of action with regard to integration work in Germany are presented based on theoretical and empirical analyses, and aimed at both the immigrants and the host society."
