| Abstract | In this chapter, David Blough gives a description of how one sport for development nonprofit organization initiated a dynamic mechanism to reexamine and increase its capabilities with respect to social innovation (SI). SI through sport can be implemented in various ways. Technology can be a powerful medium for creating new solutions. Innovative structures of cooperation between different organizations may also help bridge the gap between an unmet social need and a new program. By way of the Playlab, PLAY has chosen to focus on the development of new pedagogical solutions, mainly in the field of education, psychosocial support and social inclusion. (Autor). |
