Abstract | The aim of the present study is to analyze the effects of a pilot intervention program based on team building in diverse variables of group dynamics such as team cohesion, team conflict, transactive memory systems, and collective efficacy. Participants were 53 young players divided into an experimental group (n = 28) and control group (n = 25). The methodological design was quasi-experimental, with pre- and post-intervention measures. The application of the intervention program, based on team building, lasted two months. The results showed significant differences in the psychosocial variables evaluated between the control group and the experimental group after the implementation of the intervention program. Therefore, the application of team building strategies seems adequate to improve group dynamics in sport teams. (Autor). |
