(Autor). Since the turn of the new millennium a spatial aspect has become obvious not only in the science of education, but also in movement education. These sciences developed new spatial research characterized by an interdisciplinary approach and the focus on the practical use of space. Based on anthropologic-phenomenological and sociological sciences, the author addresses this development by discussing the importance of the space-movement relationship for the creation of a teaching-learning interaction and offers examples on how space in schools could be created from a movement educational perspective.
