(Autor). The authors elaborate on the recent discussion of participation from an educationally democratic perspective. Firstly they clarify the term participation in order to present the chances and limits of facilitating democratic participation in an all-day school. Based on an empirically supported general concept for implementing democratic participation, the authors present examples to facilitate group efforts for making decisions, communicating and problem solving in play situations in all-day-school sport programs.
