Abstract	The publication deals with results of three research projects that were conducted between 2003 and 2011 in vocational training centres on behalf of the German Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The projects focused on possibilities of vocational training and qualification for people with ASD as well as on vocational participation and inclusion on the regular labour market. The aim of the projects was to identify people with autism who are qualified for vocational training and apprenticeship, and to find out what barriers impede job qualification.
