Abstract	"The Grundtvig programme is the part of the EU's larger Lifelong Learning Programme dedicated to nonvocational adult education. It focuses on the teaching and study needs of those in adult education, alternative education, and non-formal and informal learning settings, as well as the organisations delivering these services. Grundtvig aims to: enhance the professional development of trainers, teachers and other staff in adult education; improve the quality of adult education provision; boost the attractiveness and accessibility of adult learning opportunities; and; put into practice systems for recognising the outcomes of non-formal and informal learning."
