Abstract	Die vorliegende Doktorarbeit von 1998 wurde im Rahmen einer größeren Studie zum Thema "Children's beliefs and feelings about their own and other national groups in Europe" (Die Überzeugungen und Gefühle von Kindern über ihre eigenen und andere nationale Gruppen in Europa) angefertigt. Sie beschäftigt sich mit der Konstruktion nationaler Identität als Entwicklungsprozess von der Kindheit zur Jugend in Katalonien, Spanien. [Zusammenfassung: Redaktion Bildung Weltweit]. This PhD thesis was written in 1998 in the context of a broader study on "Children's beliefs and feelings about their own and other national groups in Europe".
