Abstract | "The article axamines the extent to which youngsters are included in or excluded from the education system [in Argentina], both from a quantitative and a qualitative standpoint. Quantitatively, we assess the degree of integration in the formal education system. Qualitatively, we look at the inclusion of youth culture in daily school life and the identities shaped by the school." This means: How far do the official curricula make an attempt "to match the skills taught with everyday social life?" And how is the perception of the "ideal pupil" that influences the classroom pratice of the teachers? (DIPF/Text übernommen/Bi.). |
