Abstract | "This is a report on comparative research on developments in teacher education in Europe which has been undertaken since 1991 in the context of various European networks - most of them funded by the European Commission. The references contained in this report are therefore mainly based on the publications and activities of these networks, although this is not meant to imply that the various networks and their members have not benefited from the research and views of other colleagues outside the networks in developing their thinking."
