Abstract | Aus der Einführung: Der Artikel behandelt vordergründig ein Thema des Musikunterrichts. From the introduction: At first, it appears that the article deals with a topic from music education. As an outline of the history of music it presents the example of the development of scale systems. Nevertheless, it becomes evident that mathematics plays a fundamental part in this: Fractions, roots and logarithms serve as a basis; especially, it becomes apparent that the creation of the well-tempered scale was possible only after the corresponding developments in Algebra. |
