Abstract	This article examines social partnership in accrediting qualifications in Lithuania. It defines the factors influencing social partnership and surveys future development perspectives, referring to the creation and implementation of the national qualifications system in Lithuania. Social partnership in qualifications accreditation is regarded as a complex phenomenon consisting of the normative level (laws and legal regulations) and the process level (experiences and the existing models of cooperation). The situation in Lithuania is compared with that of other countries looking to apply western European experience in developing a model of social partnership in vocational education and training.
