AbstractIn October 2005, the Technology for All Americans Project (TfAAP) came to an end, having far exceeded its goals. TfAAP delivered a philosophical basis of the need for technological literacy (ITEA, 1996); content, student assessment, professional development, and program standards for technological literacy (ITEA, 2000/2002; 2003), and practical guides for implementing the standards (ITEA, 2004; 2005a; 2005b; 2005c). The vision of TfAAP, that all students can and deserve to become technologically literate, is something for which the International Technology Education Association (ITFA) will continue to strive through its Center to Advance the Teaching of Technology and Science (CATTS) and the research and projects that fall under the CATTS umbrella. This article will provide guidance on where to find standards-based materials and help implementing such materials now that TfAAP has drawn to a conclusion. (ERIC).
