Abstract | A study of the prevalence of and factors (sex, age, race, residence) relating to prescribed medications for profoundly mentally retarded students (N=92) in a Florida school district revealed that 53 percent received medication. Anticonvulsants, prescribed to 44.56 percent of the students, accounted for 74 percent of all medications. (CB) |
