| Abstract | The results of a survey on the opinions of the patrons of the Ruskin School District (Nebraska) regarding how they view school organization and what they would recommend regarding future considerations are reported. One hundred fifty questionnaires were mailed, and 111 responses were received. Findings are represented in six groups: (1) what patrons viewed as key factors for determining when a school district should reorganize; (2) perceptions of patrons regarding whether the district has reached a point when reorganization should be considered; (3) preference of patrons as to which district they would like to join if reorganization were to take place; (4) willingness of patrons to accept a two-thirds majority vote to join only one K-12 district if reorganization were to occur; (5) feelings of patrons regarding keeping the Ruskin Elementary School operating independently; and (6) types of comments given by patrons regarding school organization.
