| Abstract | This illustrated reader is one in a series designed for use in the Alaska State State-Operated Schools' bilingual education program. This parallel English-Inupiat reader is a collection of short stories for intermediate-level reading that were gathered in the village of Shishmaref. The stories are illustrated with black-and-white drawings. The text is designed so that the English version follows the Inupiat text on the back of the picture page, rather than being opposite the Inupiat. (AM) |
