(DIPF/Orig.). Due to the reduction of the frequency of contact to grandparents and other aged persons and the increase in time spent in age-homogenous environments, such as schools, possibilities of contact between young and aged people are reduced. That leads to stereotypes and therefore more and more intergenerational projects are implemented within schools. The article deals with the effects of the intergenerational project "Begegnung der Generationen", in which pupils and seniors engage in various activities together. The intergenerational project aims at an increased appreciation between the generations and shall improve competencies of technical, methodological, social and personal skills. According to the subjective self-assessment of the pupils gains in all four domains were made. Furthermore, the pupils were also highly satisfied with the project. (DIPF/Orig.). |
