| Abstract | This annotated bibliography lists the theses and dissertations from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, that are related to Asia and Asians living outside their own countries. The two separate groups of entries reflect this division between Asia in general and Asians living overseas. The introduction contains instruction on obtaining copies of the theses and dissertations. Many of the them refer to disadvantaged people, and some relate directly to education. Entries in the first group are arranged by region and then country and by subject when the number of entries for a country warrants the listing. Entries in the second group are arranged by nationality. Each entry contains an annotation covering a total of 26 Asian countries and 14 cultures. (SLD) |
