Abstract | This is the agreement between the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) and the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) for the academic years 1989-1991. Five articles detail the following topics: (1)definition of terms; (2) recognition and description of the bargaining unit (exclusions and alterations); (3) terms and conditions of employment (work environment, services, facilities and workload, academic freedom, professional responsibility, appointments, evaluation, reappointment, promotion, termination, nondiscrimination, personnel files, and leaves); (4) salary and benefits (increases 1989-90 and 1990-91, supplementary payments/increases); (5) contract management and related provisions (ratification, renegotiation, meet and confer, printing of agreement, minimum terms, interest succession, UNO AAUP operations, grievance procedures, separability, management rights, no strike, no lockout, no waiver).
